Tips for a QR code that scans every time

• Use strong contrast. Dark dots on a white or very light background are read fastest. Inverted (light on dark) codes fail in many apps.
• Keep the code simple. Short links make smaller, easier codes. Use a short URL when the address is long.
• Do not shrink the border (quiet zone) below 2 modules.
• Prefer square or rounded dots for large codes. Creative shapes such as diamonds or bars are best for short links.
• Test with two different phones before you print hundreds of copies.
